Top 10 Most Disappointing Experiences At Epcot

Spaceship Earth

Epcot is a beloved favorite for Disney fans around the world. Since it opened in 1982 Epcot has served guests well as a fun way to immerse themselves in culture, magic, learning and fun. Epcot is personally my favorite park due to the delicious food and fun cultural attractions around World Showcase. Even a theme park as perfect as Epcot may experience a few pitfalls when weather, technical difficulties and busy crowds of people are involved. In this countdown I will share my few stories involving disappointing experiences at Epcot. Epcot remains my favorite park and Disney is my favorite family vacation spot, I actually enjoy looking back on these memories and laughing now.

1. Food Fallout

All Disney veterans have their favorite Disney snacks that they look forward to on each trip to Walt Disney World. My family enjoys the warm strawberry crepes in the French pavilion and looks forward to them as one of the highlights of an evening at Epcot. After hopping in an open crepe line one evening I waited ten minutes in line before reaching the front of the stand only to be told by a cast member that the stand was closed. We were disappointed that we could not enjoy our favorite treat but even more upset that the cast member had not closed the line before I joined it.
