In addition to exploring the parks, dining at fantastically delicious restaurants, and shopping for the perfect souvenir at Disney Springs or your resort, Disney World is home to unique special events that can elevate your next trip and serve as a reminder of good times when reflecting on your Disney vacation.  Regardless of what you want to celebrate, guests are sure to find a special event to meet their desires throughout the year at Disney World!

1. Special Holiday Events

The two most popular special events at Disney World are so popular that they are offered many times during the Halloween and Christmas holidays.  Beginning in August and continuing through Halloween, guests can trick-or-treat on select nights throughout the lands of the Magic Kingdom while enjoying classic attractions.  In addition, guests will also be treated to some special entertainment, HalloWishes, as well as the Boo to You Parade at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. After the candy has been put away, guests are invited to prepare for the advent of Christmas at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.  Guests can ride their favorite attractions, catch Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, as well as stroll around the park and enjoy specialty dessert selections from dining locations are the park.  These events are separate, hard-ticket events, but are definitely worth it!

2. Tours

Offered throughout the year at all of the Disney theme parks, guests looking for a unique addition to their next trip can find it through a special tour.  The offerings are constantly changing depending on park operations and demand, but we would highly encourage guests to pencil some time into their next trip to Disney for one of these tours.  One of the cheapest offerings can be found at Epcot with the Behind the Seeds tour that allows guests to explore and learn more about the behind the scenes workings at the Land Pavilion.  The Keys to the Kingdom tour allows guests to learn about both onstage and backstage operations at the Magic Kingdom, as well as offers a trip into the Utilidors! Regardless of your interests and time, we are confident you’ll find a tour that you’ll enjoy!
