Spectacular Ways to Get Married At Disney World Resort

When I saw that I had an opportunity to write about the spectacular ways to get married at Disney World Resort, I jumped at the chance. Not only because I love weddings - and Disney weddings, especially - but because my husband and I actually secretly eloped in the Happiest Place on Earth and you guys are the first ones to be privy to that story! Here’s my list of the spectacular ways to get married at Disney World Resort!

1. The Memories Package!

For the longest time, we thought that a Disney Fairytale Wedding was outside our budget. Then we discovered the Memories package. This package is moderately priced for up to 4 guests, in addition to the bride and groom. There are three options you can select from to get married, all of which are beautiful locations including the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney’s Polynesian Resort. The package also includes a Disney photographer, floral arrangements and the customer service you’ve come to love when it comes to Disney.

2. Elope!

My husband and I got married inside the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, next to Victoria and Albert’s because the second we walked outside to say “I do” there was a torrential downpour! I walked in to a beautiful instrumental version of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” played by a violinist and we exchanged the most beautiful vows. We were able to get our dream Disney wedding without all the stress and hassle of a traditional format. If you’re spontaneous, or looking to elope, the Memories Package is definitely for you! Also, the wedding photos we had with Cinderella’s Castle in the background are some of my favorite ever! Shoutout to Ty for capturing our love so beautifully.

3. The Escape Package!

This middle-tiered option is anything but ordinary. The Escape package offers the bride and groom to host up to 20 guests and select gorgeous backdrops varying from the Wedding Pavilion in the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Epcot, and so much more. Unlike the Memories Collection, which is just the ceremony, the Escape Package allows for you and your guests to indulge in sweet and flavorful cake, and even a visit from the Mouse who started it all! This is an excellent option for couples who want to keep it to close friends and family only.
