Stitch Crashes Into Avengers Campus, Takes Over Disney Park Location

Stitch has officially taken over a merchandise location previously dedicated to Marvel Studios at Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris Resort. This change comes as part of the ongoing transformation of the second European Disney park, which is set to reopen as Disney Adventure World in 2026.

As part of this transformation, Disneyland Paris Resort is constructing three additional merchandise kiosks within Walt Disney Studios Park. These kiosks will be located near the Animagique Theater, Studio Theater, and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. At least one of these new kiosks is expected to open before the grand reopening in 2026, which will coincide with the opening of the World of Frozen expansion.

In the meantime, a minor but noticeable change has already taken place in one existing gift shop. On Tuesday, Disneyland Paris Resort guest @PixiedustDLP shared a video on X (formerly Twitter), showing a kiosk in Walt Disney Studios Park that has now fully transitioned into a Stitch-themed shop. This kiosk, which previously sold merchandise related to Marvel Studios, is now entirely dedicated to Stitch. Disney cast members have decorated the space with Stitch-themed stickers, paper banners, and other displays.

The new Stitch store offers a diverse selection of Stitch merchandise. Guests can find plush toys of Stitch, Leroy, and Angel, as well as accessories and bubble wands inspired by Lilo & Stitch (2002). This new offering is consistent with other Stitch-themed merchandise available at various locations throughout Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney Studios Park, and Disney Village shopping and dining district.

While the move might seem unusual to have a Stitch store so close to Avengers Campus, it’s not entirely out of place. Just steps away from the new kiosk is the entrance to Stitch Live!, an interactive digital show featuring digital puppetry technology, similar to attractions like Turtle Talk With Crush and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor at U.S. Disney parks. Stitch Live! first debuted at Disneyland Paris Resort in 2008, following its launch at Hong Kong Disneyland in 2006. Though the Hong Kong version closed in the late 2010s, similar versions of the show, such as Stitch Encounter and Space Chat With Stitch, continue to run at Tokyo Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland.
