When strolling EPCOT’s World Showcase, chances are you’ve stopped and explored the Morocco Pavilion for all its great detail and beauty. The stunning pavilion was fully funded and designed by the Kingdom of Morocco, allowing the country representation to truly shine through. As previously shared, a mutual agreement has resulted in Disney assuming the operations of Morocco. It looks as those that agreement is now underway as select restaurants and shops are temporarily closed in Morocco.
Here’s a list of what we know currently taking place in Morocco:
- – You can still celebrate the Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays in Morocco as the Sapphire Holiday Kitchen remains open!
- – Spice Road Table is currently listed as unavailable with a reopen date of Sunday, December 13.
- – Restaurant Marrakesh and Tangierine CafĂ© remain closed with no indication of when they may reopen.
- – There are also photo reports from WDWNT.com showing that Souk-Al-Magreb and The Art of Henna are temporarily closed. Medina merchandise shop is closed. The Race Against the Sun exhibit and Kidcot remain open. Plus, Olaf from “Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition” holiday scavenger hunt has been moved from his original location.
