We recently shared the good news that construction on the Cinderella Castle in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom has resumed. Disney announced the royal makeover in February, and construction began right away. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit and with park closures and social distancing, construction came to a halt in March.
Now, WDWNT has shared more images of what they’ve spotted… and it looks to us like we’re starting to see that pink-rose color shine through!

Looks like progress is being made! The question is will the work be complete by the time the Magic Kingdom begins its’ phased reopening on July 11? Disney previously reported the makeover would be complete by the summer of 2020, but with the pandemic, we’re unsure what the construction timeline may be.
