The Ultimate Guide To Magic Kingdom For Rookies

Castle Happily Ever After

8. To Nowhere In Particular

The Magic Kingdom is the best place to just plain explore. After you’ve ridden your rides, shopped for souvenirs, and had your fill of food, be sure to take some time to just go see everything you can. Go see the castle, wander around the various lands, take time to appreciate all the artistic detail the Imagineers have brought to life. The park is a practical feast for the senses, so don’t forget to go take some time to experience the magic of the kingdom itself.

9. Magical Meet and Greets

No Disney trip is complete without visiting your favorite characters, and The Magic Kingdom has more than a fine selection. There are always friends to find on Main Street, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, and Storybook Circus if you know where to look (or ask a Cast Member). A pic with Mickey is a joy forever, so be sure to bring your camera or have your phone ready to capture several magical moments. You do not want to miss out on these magical meetups.

10. Finish With Fireworks

There is no better way to end a day than a sky full of fireworks in front of Cinderella Castle. Seeing these spectacular splashes of color, light and sound paint the night with Disney magic is always a great way to end your visit with a high note. The Nighttime Spectaculars are always a sight to behold and are always enjoyed by Mousketeers young and old. If you plan on spending a day at The Magic Kingdom, be sure to spend the whole day so you do not miss these fabulous fireworks.
