These Are The 15 Best Restaurants At Walt Disney World Resort

Boathouse

Foodies everywhere are growing increasingly aware of the amazing dining options available in Walt Disney World. Whether your tummy is rumbling like a beast, or the flavors you taste are outta here like a hot dog from Casey’s Corner, these are, without a doubt, the 15 best restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort. This list is a countdown of the best restaurants I’ve personally been to at Walt Disney World -- so some of the choices may surprise you!

1. 1900 Park Fare

Nestled inside Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, guests have a number of options when it comes to who they want to dine with. Whether you’re signing up for a breakfast where you may have the chance to meet Alice, The Mad Hatter or even Mary Poppins, or dinner with Cinderella, Prince Charming and her wicked step-sisters, there’s a little bit something for everyone when you dine at this unique and colorful buffet!

2. Be Our Guest Restaurant

This place feels like you just stepped out of real life and into the VHS version of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. You have several dining areas to choose from, including the ballroom which whisks you away the second you enter. The environment of Be Our Guest Restaurant is unlike any you’ll see on Disney property. While it’s stunning and truly makes you feel like you’re a guest inside the beast’s castle, breakfast can be a tad underwhelming. While the French-inspired foods are delicious (just ask the dishes!), the fact that it’s served with paper coffee cups makes this restaurant feel just a tab bit off. Still though, the beauty of this restaurant is why you should book your reservation ASAP!

3. California Grill

If you think it’s romantic to bite into the greatest food in the world while overlooking all of Magic Kingdom and coming back to watch fireworks on an observation deck, then the California Grill is not for you.

Just kidding! The California Grill has all of these amenities plus so much more! Not only is the food to die for, but so is the view. You know that feeling you get when you turn and see Cinderella’s Castle for the first time on Main Street USA? Well magnify that by a thousand and you have the exact emotion you’ll be carrying the second you step foot into the California Grill. Disney’s Contemporary Resort is world renowned for many reasons -- including this one-of-a-kind restaurant. It’s worth what you pay for it.

4. The BOATHOUSE: Great Food, Waterfront Dining, Dream Boats

The description for this Disney Springs hot spot says it all: great food, waterfront dining, dream boats! Disney Springs is host to a ton of interesting and trendy eateries and The BOATHOUSE certainly delivers on all of them. What I loved about dining here is that the view is so relaxing and entertaining. If you’re seated outside, not only is the Florida weather beautiful, but you’re seated right on the water. You can get to watch the Amphicars plunge into the water, which is an incredible sight to see! All in all, The BOATHOUSE has a fun vibe, great seafood and stellar views. What’s not to love?

5. Cape May Cafe

While the food is akin to what you’d find at other Disney World resort hotels, what truly makes the Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort is the fact that you’re dining with Mickey and the gang! While there’s plenty of places you can meet Mickey Mouse and his clubhouse friends, dining with them can be tough -- so snag that reservation early! Mickey and his friends visit every table, dressed in their beachest outfits and even stop to go “surfing” right in the middle of the restaurant! It’s super interactive and kids always have a blast at this restaurant. It’s a must-do on your next family vacation.
