The Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort are being revitalized like never before with the replacement of the Splash Mountain attraction. Still, Imagineering’s latest update on the new attraction is turning heads.

In a love letter to New Orleans, Walt Disney Imagineering is completely revitalizing the entire Splash Mountain area at the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and they were eager to share a first look at the attraction at the D23 Expo:

On top of this, the original cast (minus Ray) will return to reprise their respective characters for the thrilling attraction.

Disney Legend burst out in song with “Almost Song” and “Dig a Little Deeper” on stage at the D23 Expo to welcome the brand new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure; a unique experience focused on Princess Tiana finding a lost but crucial ingredient to her famous restaurant.
Guests will have the opportunity to travel the bayou with Louis (Michael-Leon Wooley) and more as they encounter danger and magic with their favorite Disney characters.
