To Stay On Or Off Disney Property? That Is The Question.

Walt Disney World located in Florida, is the most visited resort in the world with an average annual attendance of more than 52 million visitors.  It comprises four theme parks, two water parks, over twenty-five Disney-themed resort hotels, nine non-Disney hotels,  several golf courses, a camping resort, and other entertainment venues, including a large outdoor shopping, dining, and entertaining complex called Disney Springs.  Getting ready for a trip to this magical destination takes a lot of planning, and one major decision is where to stay during your visit.  I hope the information in this article will help make your decision somewhat easier.

Advantages of Staying on Property

1.  Walt Disney World Resort hotels

With a choice of one of more than twenty-five Disney Resort hotels, you will be able to pick your favorite from budget-conscious value Resort hotels to luxurious deluxe Resort hotels. There are dozens of different Disney Resort hotel themes and styles available, including a Disney Campground Resort, where you can enjoy the great outdoors in the comfort of fully equipped cabins or campsites that accommodate RV’s or pop-up campers.

2.  Transportation

If you travel by plane, there is free transportation from the airport to your Disney Resort hotel.  There is also free transportation (bus, monorail, water taxi, and arriving soon to Disney World, a gondola-lift system, the Disney Skyliner) from your Disney Resort hotel to all four theme parks, water parks, other Disney Resort hotels, and Disney Springs.

3.  Free MagicBand

A MagicBand is a colorful wristband which is actually an all-in-one device that opens your Disney Resort hotel room,  enables you to buy food or merchandise, FastPass+ access to all the dining, ride, and special attractions you’ve selected on line.  The MagicBand is the latest innovation that Disney has introduced which makes every Disney vacation even more magical.

Cecilia

I am a working mother of four adult children, 2 granddogs, and one grandcat. I have been a Disney fanatic since 1959, when my parents took my sister and I on a journey across the country to Disneyland. Needless to say, we were thrilled, and this became our vacation destination for the next 10 years. Later, when Walt Disney World was opened, we travelled to Florida and discovered a whole new Disney experience, and WDW became our new vacation destination. Now, our extended family members are all Disney Fanatics and always ready to talk about anything Disney.
