At Hollywood Studio’s Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater even those who weren’t around back in the heyday of original drive-in theaters can experience the nostalgic delight of dinner and a movie done in the fashion of the 1950s. As you enter the scene a carhop will show you to your own automo-booth or table designed to look like a vintage car parked at a drive-in with a large screen projected up ahead. The restaurant setting gives the feel of an outdoor evening, complete with stars up above and glowing taillights from neighboring vehicles. As you dine from a cuisine reminiscent of drive-in diner eats, the screen will play a loop of collaborated clips from various sci-fi movies within the date range of the featured decade.
