You Won’t Find Dole Whip at This Disney Location Anymore

One of the most iconic Disney snacks has suddenly vanished from a popular Disneyland Resort hangout, leaving many guests disappointed and wondering when — or if — it will return. Dole Whip, the beloved pineapple soft serve that fans flock to enjoy on every Disney trip, is now unavailable at one of the Southern California vacation destination’s most popular immersive dining spots.

For decades, Dole Whip has been a must-have treat at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. The dairy-free pineapple soft serve is most famously served in Adventureland at Disneyland Park and Magic Kingdom Park, either swirled in a cup or as a float with pineapple juice. But the treat also shows up at other Disney locations, from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and occasionally at EPCOT. In recent years, seasonal fruit flavors, such as raspberry, lemon, and strawberry, have been introduced across several Disney parks, Disney Resort hotels, and Disney Springs.

At Disneyland Resort, one of the most buzzed-about places to enjoy Dole Whip is Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar. This immersive lounge at the Disneyland Hotel is known for its Jungle Cruise-inspired theming and imaginative cocktails, including frozen rum drinks made with the iconic pineapple soft serve. However, recent visitors have discovered that Trader Sam’s is no longer serving the fan-favorite treat — at least for now.

On Saturday, Reddit user u/Savedbythebell98 posted that Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar’s Dole Whip machine was “out of service” for the day. Disney cast members at the location reportedly couldn’t say when the popular frozen treat would be back on the menu.

“It was out of service last week too,” u/TheRealTupacboy added in the comments, suggesting the issue has lasted longer than a single day.

As of now, it’s unclear whether the Dole Whip machine at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar has been repaired or when guests might be able to enjoy the signature frozen cocktail again. Trader Sam’s still serves a mix of craft cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages in collectible souvenir mugs, and a limited food menu throughout the day. Families are welcome until 8:00 p.m., when the space becomes 21+ only. Guests hoping to visit are encouraged to make advance reservations, though a walk-up list is often available for those willing to wait.
