Universal Orlando has just launched brand-new official Instagram and Facebook pages designed specifically for Annual Passholders. The move comes as part of a shift away from their long-standing UOAP Facebook Group, which the resort says will be deactivated in the near future due to changes in Facebook’s policies surrounding Groups. For those who have followed the UOAP Facebook Group for years, it’s a bittersweet farewell to a community space that’s long served as a hub for updates, tips, photos, and fan chatter.

The message from Universal was posted directly in the Group this week, where they explained that the shift was all about keeping Passholders “in the loop” with the most up-to-date news and fun extras — just through a more official and streamlined platform. “We’re launching a new Facebook page to make sure our Passholders continue to get timely and relevant information about our universe,” the post read. “We’re also launching a brand-new Instagram page.”

Universal went on to thank the Passholder community for making the Facebook Group “a fun, welcoming space for everyone” and encouraged members to follow the new pages to continue getting sneak peeks, giveaways, exclusive offers, and all the fun perks that come with being part of the UOAP family.

The new accounts — @uoannualpassholders on Instagram and facebook.com/UOAnnualPassholders on Facebook — are already live and rolling out content. Their very first post is a slick announcement video teasing all the exciting features to come, from behind-the-scenes peeks to exclusive event info, UOAP merch, and passholder-only deals. It’s Universal’s way of keeping the Passholder community connected, celebrated, and part of the action — all in a new format.

So what’s not changing? All the awesome perks you know and love as a UOAP. Universal is still offering a wide range of benefits across its pass tiers, which include the Seasonal, Power, Preferred, and Premier passes. Depending on your level, you can still take advantage of discounts on merchandise, free or discounted parking, early park admission, and special events. Some of the latest benefits include a dedicated UOAP entrance to Universal’s Islands of Adventure every day from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., a discount increase from 10% to 15% on multi-day ticket purchases for Seasonal Passholders, and special freebies like collectible buttons and magnets tied to seasonal events.

And for those who were loving the themed lanyards, the Epic Universe edition lanyard released earlier this year for UOAPs was a hot hit. Universal is also continuing to offer exclusive UOAP merchandise and access to the UOAP Lounge located in Toon Lagoon — a cool, shaded retreat in the middle of your park day.

Universal hasn’t set a specific date for when the Facebook Group will officially shut down, but they made it clear the deactivation will be happening soon. That means if you haven’t already, now’s the time to head over to the new pages and give them a follow so you don’t miss out on anything.

Passholders, this is your new home for all things Universal — and while change can sometimes be a bit of a whirlwind, it looks like Universal is aiming to bring the same excitement and energy you expect from the parks right to your feed. Whether you’re looking for sneak peeks at Epic Universe, score the latest exclusive deals, or just want a little extra theme park magic between visits, the new UOAP pages are ready to deliver.
