Walt Disney World Annual Passholders have a new reason to check the mailbox after renewing, but another number may soon deserve even more attention.
Disney is launching a special Mickey Mouse magnet exclusively for eligible Passholders who renew their Annual Passes. Rather than asking guests to visit a theme park to collect it, Disney will mail the magnet directly to qualifying Passholders.
It's a small addition to the Annual Pass program, but it comes at a particularly notable moment.
Disney World hasn't announced any Annual Pass price increases for 2026. However, October begins this week, and Disney has raised Annual Pass prices during that month every year since 2023.
Could 2026 bring another round?
Nothing is confirmed, but recent history gives Passholders a reason to watch closely.
A Different Kind of Annual Passholder Magnet
Annual Passholder magnets have become a familiar Disney World perk.
Usually, Disney announces a character design and gives Passholders a limited amount of time to visit a designated location to pick one up. Some fans make special trips specifically to grab the newest release.
Disney is taking another approach with its latest magnet.
Eligible Annual Passholders who renew with anniversaries beginning in September 2026 will receive a special Mickey Mouse magnet in the mail. Mickey appears in turn-of-the-century attire inspired by Main Street, U.S.A.
Disney says eligible Passholders should receive the magnet within six weeks of their anniversary date.
There's a catch for larger Passholder households. Disney limits the offer to two magnets per household when the passes have the same anniversary date. Passholders also need to make sure a valid U.S. mailing address appears on their MyDisney account.
Those details matter for collectors, but the decision to connect the giveaway directly to renewal may be even more interesting.
Disney's Recent October Pattern Is Hard to Miss
October hasn't been particularly friendly to Annual Passholder wallets over the last few years.
Disney raised Annual Pass prices on October 11, 2023.
Prices increased again on October 23, 2024.
Then another increase arrived on October 8, 2025.
That makes three consecutive years in which Disney World Annual Pass prices increased during October.
The 2025 adjustment added between $20 and $80 to the passes depending on the tier. Disney's 2024 changes were even larger for some passes, ranging from $30 to $100.
Today, the Pixie Dust Pass costs $489, the Pirate Pass costs $869, and the Sorcerer Pass costs $1,099.
At the top of the lineup sits the Incredi-Pass at $1,629.
For a family purchasing multiple Annual Passes, even a relatively small increase could add a significant amount to the total.
Does the New Magnet Mean Prices Are Going Up?
Not necessarily.
Disney has made no announcement connecting its renewal magnet to an upcoming price change. It also hasn't confirmed that Annual Pass prices will increase at all this October.
The two shouldn't be presented as directly connected without evidence.
But they are happening during the same period.
Disney is rolling out a new benefit designed specifically for people who decide to renew while entering the same month in which it has repeatedly increased the cost of Annual Passes.
That makes the timing worth watching.
A Mickey magnet isn't likely to determine whether someone renews an expensive Annual Pass. But Disney doesn't necessarily need it to.
Passholder magnets have become collectibles, and this gives renewing guests another exclusive item attached to keeping their status for another year.
Passholders May Want to Watch the Next Few Weeks
There is no way to know yet whether Disney will continue its October streak.
Past price increases don't guarantee future ones, and Disney could easily break the pattern in 2026.
Still, anyone considering purchasing or renewing an Annual Pass now has three consecutive years of history to consider.
October 2023 brought an increase.
October 2024 brought another.
October 2025 made it three in a row.
Now October 2026 is arriving just as Disney begins rewarding renewing Passholders with an exclusive mailed magnet.
For collectors, Mickey may be the immediate reason to get excited.
For Passholders watching their budgets, however, Disney World's Annual Pass pricing may be the much bigger thing to watch as October begins.
