In a surprising turn of events, it has been reported that one Walt Disney World Resort Hotel has allegedly made a shocking decision. The Contemporary Resort has apparently made the shocking and surprising decision to cancel all of the reservations for their restaurants for today, December 7, 2023. This news must have come as a shock to many guests who were eagerly anticipating a delightful dining experience at this renowned resort.

Disaster at Contemporary Resort
The Contemporary Resort, nestled in the heart of Bay Lake, is known for its modern architecture, luxurious amenities, and its close proximity to the Magic Kingdom park. With its stunning views of Seven Seas Lagoon, it has long been a popular choice for families and Disney enthusiasts looking to enjoy.
One of the highlights of staying at the Contemporary Resort is the opportunity to dine at the world-class restaurants within its premises. From the beloved Chef Mickey’s, where guests can enjoy a delightful character dining experience, to the elegant and refined California Grill, which offers breathtaking views of the Disney World fireworks, these dining options have always been a major draw for visitors.
Many of the restaurants at the Contemporary Resort book out weeks, even months, in advance. People work very hard to snag one of these coveted reservations, so the thought of loosing out on one would be devastating for many fans. Unfortunately, it seems that was the case tonight.

According to one guest’s report, all of the reservations at the Contemporary restaurants were canceled suddenly. The reason why is allegedly because of a “fire alarm” or a “water leak.” The full account says;
“All Contemporary restaurants closed?
Anyone know what’s going on? Apparently all reservations are canceled? We were supposed to be at Chef Mickey in an hour.
For anyone interested, the info from the front desk is either “fire alarm” or “water leak,” so my guess is the sprinklers went off. All Contemporary restaurants are closed for the rest of the day, they just forgot to tell us.”

While the alleged cancellation of all restaurant reservations may come as a disappointment to many, it is important to note that a decision like this would be made in consideration of the evolving circumstances and the resort’s commitment to ensuring the safety of its guests and staff.
Hopefully, the guests at the Contemporary were still able to have an enjoyable evening in the end.
