Disney Warns Guests to Wear “Appropriate” Attire for Returning Event

Walt Disney World Resort has shared the big news that a memorable park event is making a grand return!

Crowds arrive in droves at Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. However, it is often forgotten that Walt Disney World holds two fantastic water parks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.

As we prepare for the refurbishment closure of Blizzard Beach Water Park, with its last day of operation on Friday, March 16, we eagerly await the reopening of Typhoon Lagoon Water Park on Saturday, March 17, 2024.

Disney H2O Glow After Hours

Disney has released the news that Typhoon Lagoon will welcome the grand return of Disney H2O Glow After Hours at the water park. The event will occur on select nights from May 25 to August 31, 2024.

Disney describes the event as “A Night of Delight,” including:

Discover Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park—after the sun goes down and the park closes.

Enjoy an evening of magic and thrills with a ticket to Disney H2O Glow After Hours at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park. It’s a limited-capacity event you won’t want to miss!

Event Highlights:

• Experience Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park in a new light—illuminated at night.
• Delight in complimentary ice cream novelties, popcorn and select beverages.
• Enjoy some favorite attractions—like Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, Castaway Creek, raft rides and waterslides—with lower wait times since the number of tickets for this event is limited.
• Move and groove to hot beats during a DJ dance party.
• See some beloved Disney Characters.

Water parks are subject to weather closures and attraction availability is subject to change due to inclement weather or other reasons.

Dates and Ticket Pricing

Disney H2O Glow After Hours takes place from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on select dates: May 25, June 1, 8, 14, 22, 28, July 5, 6, 13, 16, 20, 26, 30, August 2, 10, 17, 24, and 31.

Eager for a little early fun? You can enter the park anytime after 6:00 p.m. with your H2O Glow After Hours ticket.

When do tickets go on sale? Disney notes that guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase event tickets early by calling (407) 934-7639 beginning March 19, 2024. All other Guests may purchase tickets online beginning March 22, 2024.

Ticket pricing ranges depending on the event date selected but ranges from $75 to $85 (excludes tax) or $60 to $70 for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.

Dress Code: Check Your Attire!

Take note that Disney has a dress code for this family-friendly event. They clearly state for the dress code:

• Swim attire must be appropriate for a family environment.
• Inappropriate swim attire, swim attire with buckles, rivets, zippers or exposed metal, and other sharp objects are not allowed on any of the attractions.
• Jeans (denim) and wetsuits (neoprene) are not permitted on the following attractions: Bay Slides, Humunga Kowabunga, Ketchakiddee Creek and Storm Slides.
• For safety, diaper-age children must wear plastic pants or swim diapers in pool areas.
