What To Do At Disney World On Really Crowded Days

11. Motorized Boat Rentals

There are several Disney Resort Hotel Marinas that offer motorized boat rentals.  Choose your watercraft adventure ranging from a kayak, canoe or mini speedboat rental to a roomy pontoon boat which seats up to 10 guests.  When the parks are over populated, ride a bus or monorail to one of the Disney Hotel Marinas and enjoy the waterways of Walt Disney World.

12. Relax While Crowd Watching

One of our favorite activities (if you can call it an activity) is to purchase a deliciously, refreshing dole whip float or other Disney sweet treat, find a comfortable, possibly shady place to sit, and enjoy this heavenly treat while watching all the people walk by.  It may sound boring, but you not only observe the parade of people, but you get a quick glimpse of how their day is going.  Some are laughing, others are crying (tired babies or toddlers), and still others are arguing about where to go next.  What’s really cool is when you see these same people on a ride or attraction later in the day.  So, when the parks are teaming with people, take a chill break and watch the crowds go by.

Well, there you have it.  There are many other ways to escape those busy, busy days at the theme parks.  Personally, I thoroughly enjoy staying on property.  There are so many advantages and perks that come with staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel.  One of my favorite perks is the complimentary transportation.  Before we began staying on property, the drive to our Hotel off property was absolutely a drain on us physically and mentally.  After an all-day visit to the theme parks, that drive is horrendous.  Now, even when we close down a park, you just climb aboard a bus, monorail, or boat for a stress-free  back to your Disney Resort, walk to your room, then collapse, get rested, and enjoy your magical dreams about your perfect day and night at Walt Disney World.

Cecilia

I am a working mother of four adult children, 2 granddogs, and one grandcat. I have been a Disney fanatic since 1959, when my parents took my sister and I on a journey across the country to Disneyland. Needless to say, we were thrilled, and this became our vacation destination for the next 10 years. Later, when Walt Disney World was opened, we travelled to Florida and discovered a whole new Disney experience, and WDW became our new vacation destination. Now, our extended family members are all Disney Fanatics and always ready to talk about anything Disney.
