When Money Is No Object: 15 Splurge Worthy Things At The Magic Kingdom

Tomorrowland Dessert Party

The magic Kingdom: Walt Disney World’s most iconic park! There are so many wonderful things to enjoy, but some of them cost quite a pretty penny… How do you choose what to splurge on so that you are sure to have the most magical experience possible? Here’s what I think…

1. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Has your little one ever dreamed of becoming a princess? There is a special place in the magic Kingdom that allows girls aged 12 and under to do just that! You can choose from three packages, all ranging in price. Yes, this is a very pricey experience, but it is one that your whole family will never forget. There are different hairstyles to choose from, so your princess is sure to find something that she loves. There are also many different options ranging from a hairstyle, nails and makeup package, all the way to a full on transformation including a dress and sash. Every child who gets transformed by a “Fairy Godmother In Training” at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is sure to be noticed by cast members and guests all day!

2. Pirate’s League

Of course, not every child dreams of being a princess… some prefer the life of a pirate or a mermaid. The Pirate’s League allows guests of all ages to make their swashbuckling dreams come true! Once again this is a place in the Magic Kingdom where guests can receive a pirate or mermaid makeover. The makeup for this one is a little bit more intricate, so just be aware of that before a long and hot park day!

3. Cinderella’s Royal Table

Did you know that you can eat inside of Cinderella’s castle, and meet Disney Princesses during your meal? This is another pricey experience that is one hundred percent worth every penny for any princess lover. This is of course a great way to meet your favorite princesses with no lines, but it is also a way to enjoy a meal in the heart of Walt Disney World’s greatest icon. It is truly beautiful inside the castle, and princess lovers of all ages will be mesmerised by the sights and magic!

4. Crystal Palace

This beautiful restaurant is perfect for any Winnie The Pooh lover! Guests can enjoy a yummy meal (after all you don’t want a rumbly in your tumbly) and be able to meet some of their favorite friends from the Hundred Acre Wood! This is a great way to spend a little bit more time with these characters as well, because there are usually very long lines for them over by The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh attraction.

5. Liberty Tree Tavern

This may be my favorite restaurant on all of Disney Property. Liberty Tree Tavern offers fresh food, and amazing service and theming. If you are patriotic, you will love the decorations of the restaurant, and even if not, it is a great thing to experience! It is located in Liberty Square, which means that after your meal you can take a quick ride on The Haunted Mansion, only a few short steps away! My favorite part of the meal there is desert; once again made fresh and served up warm. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

6. Be Our Guest Restaurant

Be Our Guest is one of the best themed restaurants on all of Disney property. It is designed for guests to feel like they are dining inside of The Beast’s castle, and is complete with three different rooms to eat in: The Ballroom, The West Wing, and The Rose Gallery. All three rooms will make you feel as though you have entered the movie and are a true princess or prince! There are two different ways that the food is served at Be Our Guest, depending on what time you are eating there. During breakfast and lunch you will line up, and order your meal on a touch screen. You then will enter the dining areas and choose a table, where your food is delivered to you. However, and night Be Our Guest is a full table service restaurant, with menus and all. Dinner is also the only meal of the day when guests can meet The Beast. There is no other location to meet The Beast, so any fan of Beauty And The Beast will find dinner at Be Our Guest a must do!

7.Wishes Dessert Party

Do you ever wish that there was a special place to watch Wishes away from the crowd? Well there is and it’s complete with delectable desserts! You can sit in Tomorrowland with a beautiful view of the castle, and enjoy your sweet treats with friends or family. This is a great way to celebrate a special event!

8. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

I don’t know about you, but I love Halloween! Everything from the spooky decorations, to the pumpkin spice everything are just so much fun! Nobody does Halloween better than Disney… which leads me to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! This is a ticketed event that offers guests of all ages a chance to come into the Magic Kingdom in costumes! (There are still rules though, so make sure that your costume is allowed before arriving!) This is something that is in my opinion worth the cost of admission, because when else would you be allowed to dress as your favorite character in the parks as an adult!? There is also of course a special fireworks show, a special parade, as well as other entertainment exclusive to the event. The Halloween party runs from early September to late October, so there are lots of dates to choose from!

9. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

This next experience is something that is sure to put a smile on anybody’s face: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! Christmas is my favorite time of year, and there’s nothing like Christmas at Disney! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party is also a special ticketed event, and it allows many exclusive activities for guests including cookies and hot chocolate at multiple locations throughout The Magic Kingdom! There are special characters you can meet, a special parade, and lots more festive entertainment! Everyone in your group is sure to have a blast at this event!

10. Enjoying A Delicious Sweet Treat

Many people see the candy apples in The Confectionary on Main Street, and they assume that they are not worth the large price tag. Trust me when i say that they totally are! They are unlike any other candy apple available, and there are so many different designs to choose from! The candy apples are also made fresh by cast members everyday, and are a delicious mix of apple, caramel, chocolate, and whatever other things adorn the crunchy treat! Note that these treats are not available as a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan, but that they are still a must have!

11. Getting Your Haircut

That’s right: you can get your hair cut right in the Magic Kingdom! The Harmony Barber Shop allows children and adults to get a trim by one of their professional barbers. They also offer a special package for your child’s first haircut, complete with a special Mickey ear cap. This is quite possibly the most magical haircut anyone can receive and the memories will last a lifetime!

12. Eating at Tony’s

I remember my first time eating at Tony’s as a little girl; I was completely mesmerized by the theming of a Lady And The Tramp Themed restaurant, where you feel like you are eating spaghetti right alongside your favorite dog couple! The food is delicious, and the staff are always lovely. If you are a fan of the Festival Of Fantasy Parade then make sure to get a reservation that will run through the time that the parade goes down Main Street, and if you are lucky you may just get a great view!
