Disneyland Paris Resort has pulled back the curtain on one of its biggest transformations ever, confirming that the resort’s second gate will reopen with a new identity and a massive Frozen (2013) expansion in spring 2026. The redesigned park, known as Disney Adventure World, will begin welcoming guests on March 29, bringing with it several new areas, a lineup of fresh attractions, and, of course, the World of Frozen.
A Major Transformation for Disneyland Paris Resort

The rethemed park will debut as part of a large-scale enhancement project aimed at transforming the former Walt Disney Studios Park into a world where guests can fully immerse themselves in their favorite stories. Rather than focusing on behind-the-scenes moviemaking, Disney Adventure World will immerse visitors directly into beloved franchises, much like Disney-MGM Studios evolved into Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort. The opening date was highlighted in an official announcement shared by Disneyland Paris Resort on November 24.

Expansions, Attractions, and an All-New Nighttime Show
When the reimagined park opens, it will nearly double in size. Guests can explore the newly built World of Frozen, experience an attraction inspired by Tangled (2010), try more than a dozen new dining locations, and gather around a large lake for a nighttime spectacular titled Disney Cascade of Lights.

Existing park areas, including Worlds of Pixar, World Premiere, and Marvel Avengers Campus, will be incorporated into the new layout.
Rapunzel Joins the Expansion With a Musical New Ride

Raiponce Tangled Spin, a family-friendly gondola ride based on Tangled (2010), will debut alongside Disney Adventure World. The attraction will feature the iconic lantern sequence and brand-new narration from Mandy Moore.

World of Frozen Brings Arendelle to Life

Visitors will be able to explore a fully realized version of Arendelle at the new World of Frozen land, complete with Frozen Ever After, Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs, and a dedicated meet-and-greet with Anna and Elsa. Elsa’s Ice Palace and the North Mountain are already visible, towering over Disneyland Paris Resort.
Walt Disney Imagineering also released footage of a groundbreaking Olaf audio-animatronic that will interact with guests. According to the update, the figure will appear both at Disneyland Paris Resort and at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.

More Additions Still Ahead

Expansion will continue after Disney Adventure World opens in 2026. Disneyland Paris Resort has revealed that a new land inspired by The Lion King (1994) is under development, featuring a log flume attraction.

Concept art also confirmed a “flying carousel” based on Up (2009). However, Disneyland Paris Resort has not announced opening dates for either project.
