6. Disney Dining Plans

The Disney Dining Plan (DDP) if available to Disney World guests who purchase the “Magic Your Way Vacation Package” or book using Disney Vacation Club points.  With the DDP, you are purchasing a certain number of meals ahead of time on a voucher-type system. Basically, for each night of your stay, each guest on your reservation receives an allotment of quick-service meals, table service meals, and snacks.  The number of meals depends on which plan you choose.  Your Magic Band electronically monitors your party’s allocated meals, and after your meal, each receipt displays the number of meals or snacks remaining for each room (not per guest).  On certain dates and at select Disney Hotels, you can take advantage of the free Dining Plan, which will save you a bundle.
