4. Trail’s End (Fort Wilderness)
A new favorite for our list, Trail’s End offers a lot of things we love! First – it is a buffet, so we know we are going to have a great meal because we choose how much we want and specifically what goes on our plates! Second – there aren’t characters. This usually helps control both the crowds (all the times we’ve eaten there, there have been moderate crowds) and the price (this IS the most reasonable price we’ve seen for a buffet ANYWHERE on property). Third – we love the location. It is located at Pioneer Hall at Fort Wilderness, right on the shores of Bay Lake. We love dining here and then hopping on a boat and heading to the Magic Kingdom and avoiding the craziness of the ferry boat or Monorail! Trust us – this is a MUST DO on your next trip!
