10. Choose Value-Tier Accommodations
WDW’s on-property hotels are categorized by different price levels and amenities. If the dollar amount of your trip has a higher priority than theming or ambience, I’d suggest that you book a simpler Disney hotel. True, staying off-site can save a couple of bucks, but if you have to factor in the cost of a rental car, I’d still encourage onsite accommodations. Anyways, staying in a value tier will still give you the experience of staying inside the magical bubble, but it will not break the bank. (Considering that four nights in a value resort can equal the cost of one night in a deluxe resort, this makes the choice easy for thrifty guests.) On the other hand, if you’re dying to try a deluxe resort, you can save lots of money (technically) by renting DVC points from a BBB-accredited site!
