7. Gondolas

A gondola system is coming to Walt Disney World Resort.  There will be six stations with three lines connecting Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Caribbean Beach Resort, and the lake area between Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts.  Each enclosed gondola cab will hold 10 guests.  The reasons behind this gondola system are to alleviate some of the transportation issues that will be forthcoming  with the opening of the new Star Wars Land, Toy Story Land, and the extensive refurbishment of the Caribbean Beach Resort.  Even though the proposed gondola system information is not set in stone, there are several factors that point to the validity of this report.  Just recently, Walt Disney World filed official “Notice of Commencement” paperwork for the construction of “foundation and building infrastructure” at six locations that match the locations of the stations previously mapped out.  I can’t wait for this to happen!
