10 of the Best Places in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom to Take a Break

1.  Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover

This is my #1 place in all of the Magic Kingdom to take a break and “people watch”.  First of all, this is an elevated tram car ride, which is constantly moving; the loading ramps are moving also, so there is seldom a long line.  Once on board, get ready for one of the smoothest, most relaxing, open air rides in the Magic Kingdom.  Take a 10-minute tour of Tomorrowland, including traveling in and out of attractions and shops, while enjoying some very lively narration.  As you are taking this tour, you can look down on all the crowds as they are rushing to get to their next ride or attraction.  When the ride is over, you will be joining those crowds for your next exciting ride or attraction, so relax and get ready for your next thrilling experience at the Magic Kingdom.

Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is filled with magic, imagination, thrilling rides, colorful parades, musical stage performances, and fun-filled excitement for the whole family.  As Walt Disney himself said, “Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, dreams are forever”.  These are words of wisdom from a man whose only desire was to build a park where he and his daughters could have a great time together.  He succeeded!

Cecilia

I am a working mother of four adult children, 2 granddogs, and one grandcat. I have been a Disney fanatic since 1959, when my parents took my sister and I on a journey across the country to Disneyland. Needless to say, we were thrilled, and this became our vacation destination for the next 10 years. Later, when Walt Disney World was opened, we travelled to Florida and discovered a whole new Disney experience, and WDW became our new vacation destination. Now, our extended family members are all Disney Fanatics and always ready to talk about anything Disney.
