10 of the Best Places in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom to Take a Break

5.  “Tangled” Tower Rest Area—Fantasyland

Located near “Peter Pan’s Flight” and “It’s a Small World” attractions, this unique “sit and rest” area’s theme comes from the popular full length Disney animated film, “Tangled”.  Rapunzel’s Tower overlooks this shaded area, which is encircled by a small stone wall, where you can rest on wooden barrels and have a snack or beverage on a table sitting atop a wooden barrel.  The “Tangled” theme is seen throughout this area including beautiful lanterns strung above, a lovely waterfall, restrooms which have the appearance of a quaint little village, and “Wanted” posters of some of the savory characters from the movie hung on the walls.  The “Tangled” area is one of my favorite places to relax, visit the restroom, charge my phone, quench my thirst or have a snack, listen to the piped in “Tangled” themed music, and observe all those happy guests on the way to their next adventure.

Cecilia

I am a working mother of four adult children, 2 granddogs, and one grandcat. I have been a Disney fanatic since 1959, when my parents took my sister and I on a journey across the country to Disneyland. Needless to say, we were thrilled, and this became our vacation destination for the next 10 years. Later, when Walt Disney World was opened, we travelled to Florida and discovered a whole new Disney experience, and WDW became our new vacation destination. Now, our extended family members are all Disney Fanatics and always ready to talk about anything Disney.
