10 of the Best Places in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom to Take a Break

Walt Disney’s vision of a futuristic city to be located in the state of Florida was partially realized at the grand opening of Walt Disney World on October 1, 1971, officiated by Roy O Disney and Walt’s best friend, Mickey Mouse.  Although, this amazing new Disney Resort was not exactly what Walt had in mind, it has become one of the most visited Resorts in the World.  Over 52 million guests have visited this magical place since its opening and  has really grown over the years, and to say you do a lot of walking is an understatement.  I love all four Parks, but my favorite is the Magic Kingdom, and in this article, I am highlighting some of the best places to take a break, rest your feet, and soak up the magic and wonder of this magical place, and do some people watching.

I am a working mother of four adult children, 2 granddogs, and one grandcat. I have been a Disney fanatic since 1959, when my parents took my sister and I on a journey across the country to Disneyland. Needless to say, we were thrilled, and this became our vacation destination for the next 10 years. Later, when Walt Disney World was opened, we travelled to Florida and discovered a whole new Disney experience, and WDW became our new vacation destination. Now, our extended family members are all Disney Fanatics and always ready to talk about anything Disney.
