10 Of The Most Amazing Restaurant Experiences At Disney World Resort

Ohana

Let's Recap

10. T-Rex Cafe

This super cool restaurant is owned by the same folks who own Rainforest Cafe, and it’s actually quite similar in a lot of ways. However, this is the only T-Rex Cafe out there, making this a much more unique experience.

What should you expect there? Dino animatronics, meteors, and lots of noisy fun!

9. Be Our Guest

Fans of Beauty and the Beastwill adore Be Our Guest. This eatery is interesting in that it's a quick-service location by day and a table-service restaurant by night. Whichever meal you choose, you will be treated to a meal in the castle from the movie, complete with a West Wing, a ballroom, and even snow falling outside the windows. This place is seriously magical.

8. Cinderella’s Royal Table

A meal at Cinderella's Royal Table is the quintessential Disney experience. Because of this fact, an enormous number of people are constantly clambering to get a seat at this restaurant. Therefore, if you wish to get in, you must reserve as soon as you possibly can.

If you do manage to reserve a seat, you will be treated to a lovely meal surrounded by multiple princesses, all while inside of the famous Magic Kingdom castle.

7. Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater is a great place to go for a heaping helping of nostalgia. The entire dining room is made to look exactly as if you are outside at a drive-in theater.

Guests are seated at tables inside of cars, and a big screen shows clips from old films throughout your meal. As far as food goes, you can expect typical American fare such as burgers, fries, and shakes.

6. 50s Prime Time Cafe

Another experience that offers tons of nostalgia is a meal at 50s Prime Time Cafe. This eatery is decorated exactly as a home in the 1950s might have been. There are black-and-white TVs scattered about, each of them playing a TV hit from the time period.

Your waiter plays the part of a loving yet strict family member, and may reprimand you as a family member would, telling you to eat your veggies or get your elbows off the table.

This is all quite silly and entertaining, and an experience we highly recommend.

5. The Garden Grill

Have you ever been in a restaurant that spins? What about one that spins while showing you super cool scenery and sends beloved characters out to meet you? That's exactly what you'll get at Garden Grill. Not only that, you'll also get to fill up on some super awesome country cooking with their family-style, all-you-can-eat meals.

4. Biergarten

This hidden German buffet in Epcot’s World Showcase is truly spectacular. The food is top notch and features sausages, schnitzel, and plenty of other German favorites.

Better than that however is the ambiance of the place. The dining hall is made to look like the middle of a small German town, making you feel as though you're dining outside in a town square. There is live music and a dance floor, and all diners are invited to get up and join in the polkas.

3. Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue

Dinner shows are always a great time, and this definitely holds true for the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue. This fast-paced comedy show is absolutely hilarious and good for all ages. Songs, dances, and jokes are plentiful in this dining hall, as is the fried chicken, corn, and other delicious grub.

2. Sanaa

Do you adore animals? If so, Sanaa is the place for you. This amazing restaurant boasts an enormous window with one of the prettiest views in all of Disney World: the savanna. This means you can peek out at giraffes and zebras while you enjoy your meal.

To top it all off, the food is absolutely fabulous, featuring unique and interesting African-inspired foods without straying into the odd foods that many might not be comfortable with.

1. Ohana

Last, but definitely not least, we must mention Ohana. This eatery actually features two different dining experiences; however, today we are going to focus on the dinner option.

The evening meal at Ohana includes such entertainment as storytelling, Hawaiian music, and “coconut races” that encourage the family to laugh and connect. The food is also wonderful here and includes lots of skewered meats, as well as salad, noodles, wontons, and their famous pineapple bread. Yum!
