10 Perfect Ways to Spend Your Last Day At Disney World

Chewbacca

7. All Four Parks in One Day?

Many guests have prided themselves on visiting all four theme parks in one day.  Why not give it a whirl on your last day?  When you get home, you can tell all your friends that you traveled around the “World” in one day.  Let’s say you begin your day at the Magic Kingdom until you have used all your early fast passes.  Plan another Fast Pass+ for your next theme park, and while you’re there, enjoy other rides and attractions.  Your choices of which of the four parks to visit first and the order in which you visit all four can be spontaneous—“go with the flow."

6. Relaxing Periods

Don’t rush your last day. Take some time to “kick back” and enjoy a refreshing drink, frozen treat, or other sweet treat, and find a perfect place to sit and watch the crowds pass by.  You would be surprised how many familiar faces you see.  By familiar, I mean guests who have been on the same bus, in line at an attraction or ride, or some other area while visiting all the parks.  You may even be lucky enough to see someone from your hometown.

5. Souvenirs

Now is the time to pick out those souvenirs or gifts for friends and family that you may have forgotten about until now, like the dog sitter, house sitter, neighbors, co-workers, etc.  Keep it simple: keychains, pens, magnets, mugs, etc.  This is also the last chance you will have to get that one special Disney souvenir that you have been thinking about since you first saw it.  Believe me, if you don’t get it, you will regret it.

4. Festival of Fantasy Parade - Magic Kingdom

Festival of Fantasy - Magic Kingdom

If you didn’t get a chance to watch this parade earlier, plan to experience it on this, you last day.  This parade is extraordinary and takes place daily, usually around 3:00pm.  It’s filled with beautifully designed floats carrying Disney characters, talented street performers, and the most upbeat Disney-themed music.  It’s one of the best parades I’ve seen at Disney World, and I’m sure you will not be disappointed.  Wait till you see Maleficent as a fire breathing dragon near the end of the parade, truly awesome.
