Ever wanted to learn to ride the waves? Believe it or not, you can do just that in Disney World. Typhoon Lagoon offers surfing lessons in their awesome wave pool, and we cannot recommend these lessons enough. They’re definitely a fine reason alone to visit the water park, and will make for a fabulous vacation memory besides.

Most people use their time in Disney World to meet at least a few characters. For some, finding the most unique characters becomes a game. If you are one of those who likes to find unusual characters, you’ll love the fact that both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon boast unique character meet-and-greets, meaning you can expand upon your autograph collection.

Last but not least, we must mention the surprisingly good food served at the water parks. Sure, these parks don’t offer as many food options as the bigger parks, but what they do offer is high quality.
