10 Special Services You May Not Know About at Walt Disney Resort

9. Disney Dining Plan

This is one of my favorite perks, and you can only get the Dining Plan if you are a Disney Resort Hotel guest.  Here is how it works:  You basically are purchasing a certain number of meals ahead of time on a voucher system.  For each night of your stay, each guest on a reservation receives an allotment of quick service meals, table service (sit-down) meals, and snacks. The number of meals is dependent on the specific plan you choose.  After your meal, the receipt you receive displays the number of meals remaining for each room (not per guest), allowing you to keep track of your balance.  Meals and snacks may be redeemed in any order during your stay until the balance is at zero or until midnight of the night you check out, whichever comes first.  Before you leave your Disney Resort Hotel, make sure you visit the food court or gift shop and redeem any remaining meal or snack credits.  **Also included in the dining plan is 1 refillable mug for each guest, which can be used at the Resort Food Court for the entire length of your stay**

Cecilia

I am a working mother of four adult children, 2 granddogs, and one grandcat. I have been a Disney fanatic since 1959, when my parents took my sister and I on a journey across the country to Disneyland. Needless to say, we were thrilled, and this became our vacation destination for the next 10 years. Later, when Walt Disney World was opened, we travelled to Florida and discovered a whole new Disney experience, and WDW became our new vacation destination. Now, our extended family members are all Disney Fanatics and always ready to talk about anything Disney.
