1. Gum and candy
Disney World is full of magic, dreams come true, fantasy, fun and out-of-this-world attractions. But you won’t find gum at Disney World; it isn’t sold in the parks. And for good reason—remember looking on the underneath side of your desk in elementary school? Imagine if gum were sold at Disney. Parts of the parks might resemble those desks. But Disney doesn’t prohibit Guests from bringing gum into the parks, so I usually carry a package of gum in my park bag. I also carry a sharing size bag of Sweetarts or Spree candy to share with my crew while we are in the queue for an attraction. We are respectful, though, and don’t have it out of my backpack in areas where food and drinks are prohibited.
What will you pack in your Disney World bag? These are the things I have in my bag, but you’ll want to tailor your park bag to fit the needs and preferences of your family or traveling party. Don’t let it become a task, though. Be sure to keep it fun! After all, you’re going to Disney World!
