10 Tips for Planning Your Disney World Itinerary

10. Plan a Buffer Day

Unless you’re a local, you’re traveling to WDW by plane, train, or a longautomobile ride. As with all travel, blunders can occur that may throw a wrench in your plans. These blunders include delayed flights, excessive traffic, and car trouble. To save yourself some hair-pulling moments (or tears), don’t over-plan your first day. Instead, reserve the first day of your trip as a “buffer” day where you don’t have any dining or high-priority FastPass+ reservations to make. That way, if anything delays your first walk down Main Street U.S.A., you won’t find yourself in a frenzy. After all, that is noway to start out a great vacation!
