10 Ways to Safely Pack Your Bag for Disney Parks and Not Get Stopped at Security

7. Don’t Over Pack

In order to get through the bag check line quickly, do not overstuff your bag or backpack.  The security personnel are very thorough and will search every nook and cranny of your bag with a flashlight.  Too many loose items will cause a delay in their search.  Snacks and water bottles should be placed in a separate clear bag so they are easily visible.  Buy samples of medical needs (band aids, first aid gel, aspirin, sun       block, etc.) and place them in a clear zippered bag. These clear bags make it much easier for the security personnel to check your bags.

I am a working mother of four adult children, 2 granddogs, and one grandcat. I have been a Disney fanatic since 1959, when my parents took my sister and I on a journey across the country to Disneyland. Needless to say, we were thrilled, and this became our vacation destination for the next 10 years. Later, when Walt Disney World was opened, we travelled to Florida and discovered a whole new Disney experience, and WDW became our new vacation destination. Now, our extended family members are all Disney Fanatics and always ready to talk about anything Disney.
