Your Magic Band unlocks your Disney Resort Hotel room, gives you access to all four theme parks and the two water parks, when linked to your credit card, enables you to purchase food and merchandise, access Fast Pass+ reservations, and so much more, and all this with a simple tap onto a special reader located at all the parks.  I would suggest doing research on the new Magic Band 2, and you will understand how awesome this new technology is and how it can make your Disney vacation even more fun and stress-free.

6. Fast Pass+ Advantages

Staying at a Disney Resort Hotel enables you to reserve select shows and attractions up to 60 days before your arrival.  When you make your reservations at a Disney Hotel, purchase and link theme park tickets, and you’re good to go.  You can now choose from over 60 of your favorite Walt Disney World experiences.  You can reserve 3 Fast Pass+ selections per day in advance either online or using the mobile app, or for the same day at an in-park Fast Pass+ kiosk.  After you redeem your 3 initial picks, you can make another selection.  I love sitting around the dining room table weeks before our trip and deciding on which Fast Pass+ attractions we’ll reserve; truly a family event.

5. Complimentary Transportation

While you are at a Disney World Resort Hotel, you will be able to take advantage of several forms of transportation to get you anywhere you want to go on Disney property.  Depending on your Resort Hotel, the choices are bus, boat, Skyliner or monorail.  You can avoid the hassle of driving, seeking parking places, and traffic by using Disney transportation.  Just stop by one of the pick-up points at your Resort and your boat, bus, or monorail will arrive, usually in a matter of minutes.
