3. Living with the Land
Much of the bounty you get to experience on the menu at Garden Grill actually comes straight from Epcot’s own greenhouses, having been grown right on-location at what is in itself one of The Land Pavilion’s famed attraction features—Living with the Land. Living with the Land is in part a docile boat ride through different landscapes that include a deciduous forest during a thunderstorm, a sandy desert, tropical rainforest, and bucolic prairie. But it is also an insightful adventure into the inner workings of both modern day and future conceptual plant-growing practices, like hydroponics, aquaculture, plants grown in alternate “soils,” and so many other fascinating horticultural techniques. You will be allowed an insider’s look into these amazing cultivating practices already at work in Epcot’s many different greenhouses and living laboratory setups. Even better, you can get a closer, more in-depth look at Epcot greenhouses when you sign up for the Behind the Seeds Tour.
