15 Things You Need to Know About Visiting Magic Kingdom

Walt And Mickey Disney Castle

1. The Kiss Goodnight

At Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, there is a special occurrence at the end of every day that many guests are not aware of.  Every night, at closing time, after the final parade and fireworks

show, the crowds begin to make their way to the exits.  About 30 minutes later, Cinderella’s Castle begins twinkling and “When You Wish Upon a Star” starts playing, then the narrator begins the final greeting to all the remaining guests with an emotional good-bye ending in these words by Walt Disney himself:  “The Magic Kingdom is a place for the young and the young at heart; a special place where when you wish upon a star, dreams can come true.  Until we see you again, have a safe trip home.  Thank you, and goodnight!”  Then the voice of Mickey Mouse chimes in with “Good-bye, everybody, see ya real soon!”

I could go on and on with things you need to know about Magic Kingdom Park.  The bottom line is you need at least two days to experience all this magical theme park has to offer.  The rides, attractions, dining, shopping, and all things in between are what makes this Park so special, and you want to enjoy it all, so I highly recommend you take more than one dy to see it all.  The memories will last a lifetime!
