16 Things You Must Do At Disney World's Magic Kingdom

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

6. Thunder Around

When the parade ends, you’ll definitely want to head into Frontierland. This is the home of “Big Thunder Mountain Railroad”, a themed rollercoaster that is fun for the adults in the group while still remaining tame enough for the younger thrill-seekers. So hop on, but remember, “Hold onto your hats and glasses, folks, cause this here’s the wildest ride in the wilderness!”

5. Splash Down

Florida weather is almost always warm—or outright hot—and sunny, which means getting a bit wet can feel pretty amazing. Fortunately, “Splash Mountain” is always an option for cooling off, squeezing in some extra thrills, and watching some adorable animatronics put on a great show at the same time. Don’t skip this one!

4. Sail With Pirates

Have you ever wished you could sail with pirates? Lucky for you, a quick trip down to Adventureland will give you the opportunity to do just that. “Pirates of the Caribbean” is a slow dark ride that the whole family will love. The attention to detail on this attraction is incredible, and the catchy song will continue playing in your head for the rest of the day.

3. Take a Jungle Cruise

Next on the agenda? A cruise through the jungle on a collection of the world's major rivers. On the “Jungle Cruise,” you are sure to be rolling in your seat as your “punny” skipper tells ridiculous jokes and navigates your boat through animal habitats and plenty of “dangerous” situations.

2. Try a Dole Whip

There are some who would claim you haven't lived if you haven't tried a Dole Whip float. While we aren't sure that’s entirely true, we do have to agree this is a pretty heavenly snack. Therefore, a quick stop at Aloha Isle to pick one up before leaving Adventureland is definitely a good idea.

1. Live Happily Ever After

Finally, you simply must finish off your magical day with a gorgeous fireworks display that you won’t soon forget. “Happily Ever After” is shown nightly over Cinderella Castle, and it is the perfect ending to a perfect day.
