2. Disney’s Contemporary Resort
This resort hotel was one of the first hotels built on Disney property when the park first opened in the early 1970s, but the hotel is definitely not behind the times when it comes to all it offers its guests! Enjoy one of Disney World’s most delightful character dining experiences when you have breakfast at Chef Mickey’s restaurant in-house at the Contemporary. On its way to deliver parkgoers to Magic Kingdom, Disney’s monorail runs through the resort, and it’s exciting to see! You’re so close to Magic Kingdom that you can walk there! At night, have dinner at the California Grill restaurant on the 15thfloor of the Contemporary Resort and then step outside on the observation deck to see beautiful fireworks over Cinderella Castle.
