Summer is fast approaching and for many of us, that means a trip to Walt Disney World is in our future. With so many changes coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you may be feeling like this is the park to skip during your vacation—but you couldn’t be more wrong! Here are 5 tips for getting the most out of your trip to Hollywood Studios:
5. Arrive To The Park Early
You may think that because a lot of attractions have been taken out that the park won’t be as busy, but you’d be mistaken! The crowds will still be in full effect, so arrive early in order to hit every attraction.
4. Pick Up a Park Map and Times Guide
Having a park map in hand will help you navigate quickly and efficiently. You can decide to start on one side of the park and gradually make your way to the other side, hitting every attraction along the way! Also, pick up a times guide so that you can see what shows are at which times so you can plan around them.
3. Make a Game Plan Beforehand
Utilize the Disney World website and decide the night before what attractions are must do’s and which ones you can bypass. Knowing what you want to spend your time on once you get to the park will make your trip a lot smoother.
2. Make Dining Reservations In Advance
If you plan on eating in the park, I highly suggest calling in advance and making a reservation. If you don’t, you’ll be waiting for a long time instead of being seated quickly, and that will cut into the time you want to spend on rides and at shows.

1. Make Fastpasses
Securing fastpasses in advance is so important to making the most out of your trip. Since Hollywood Studios doesn’t have as many attractions, utilizing your three fastpasses is crucial to getting to do everything you want to do in the park. Try to make fastpasses for the most popular attractions since they will have the longest wait times.
Hollywood Studios is far from being a half-day park, and if you want to experience all it has to offer, apply these five tips during your next trip. And don’t forget to slow down and take breaks often—that summer heat can really get the best of you!
