Speaking from experience, staying at a Walt Disney World Resort will make your Disney vacation even more magical and memorble. Walt Disney World has been our primary vacation destination since our first visit in 1975, when my daughter, now 44, was 2 years old.To make a long story short, we were blown away at how much the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World resembled Disneyland in California, which my parents, my sister and I had visited many times in the late 50’s and 60’s. The same joy and happiness of Disneyland was also present here at the Magic Kingdom, and Walt Disney World became our new Disney vacation destination. As our family grew, we began visiting Disney World more often, and one year we decided to stay on property, at what was then called “Dixie Landings”, now Port Orleans/Riverside. Needless to say with all the awesome amenities and perks, we have always stayed on property, and Riverside is our favorite Resort. Here are six of those very special amenities.
