Additionally, park tickets can be purchased at a small discount from a reputable company (such as Undercover Tourist) when you plan in advance. In fact, even tickets purchased online through Disney directly are cheaper than those purchased at the gate.
A bit of planning can save you some money, and that is always a good thing.
