6 Times a Year When EPCOT is Insanely Busy

Epcot Christmas Tree

1. During EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays

Mid-November through the month of December sees an increase in park attendance all over Disney World, and at EPCOT, it’s largely related to the Christmas holiday, as well as the International Festival of the Holidays. This is my favorite festival! It is absolutely the most festive event I’ve ever experienced! Guests can taste holiday treats from around the world at EPCOT’s Holiday Kitchens. There are musical performances like “JOYFUL!, a Gospel Celebration” and the Candlelight Processional, which hosts a mass choir and 50-piece orchestra, as well as a re-telling of the story of Jesus’ birth by a celebrity narrator. Your little ones will love meeting Santa Claus, Father Christmas and Pere Noel around the World Showcase. The International Festival of the Holidays is a beautiful celebration of the Christmas holiday, and not one to be missed! The park is crowded, but it’s so worth the experience—one unlike any other you’ll have at Disney World!

Yes, there are times during the year when EPCOT is insanely busy, but the magic of the park outweighs the inconvenience of crowds and wait times! So if you have the chance to go to Disney—no matter the season—don’t miss your opportunity for a one-of-a-kind vacation experience!
