Another fun and free option in Disney World is exploring the many amazing resorts. For this weekend getaway, you can stay in any resort you like. However, the cheapest option tends to be one of the All Star resorts. Make a couple of dining reservations at resorts you’d like to check out, and start exploring.
The monorail resorts are all must-sees during your resort-hopping trip. Therefore, reservations at Chef Mickey’s, Ohana's, or 1900 Park Fare are always good bets. The Epcot-area resorts are also fun to explore, as is the boardwalk in the area. This means that Cape May Cafe and Beaches and Cream are also excellent choices.
By taking some of the ideas above and building a trip of your own, you can easily have a fun mini-trip to Disney World without spending a fortune. This means you’ll have more money to spend on your big vacation, but you don’t have to sacrifice those weekends of fun throughout the year.
