7 Dining Experiences Trending Now at Walt Disney World

4. Boma-Flavors of Africa – Animal Kingdom Lodge

Boma was designed to look like an African marketplace. With its thatched roof and bold colors, you’ll feel like you’re in the middle of a bustling African village. Enjoy an all-you-care-to-eat buffet for breakfast, lunch or dinner and sample delicious African dishes as well as some American favorites. The buffet includes seafood, soups, salads, pork ribs, turkey, sirloin and more. Desserts are also offered on the buffet. Our favorites—the key lime cheesecake and bread pudding. But it’s all amazing, and you can’t go wrong with any selection at Boma.

5. Sanaa – Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Lodge

You won’t need dining reservations if you’re planning to have breakfast at Sanaa. That’s because the restaurant transforms into a quick-service venue where you and your family can enjoy the Sanaa Kuamsha Breakfast from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. every day. Later in the day, enjoy lunch or dinner at Sanaa and enjoy such offerings as chicken, lamb, oxtail, duck and steak with Indian-style bread service. For dessert, try the Serradura—a dessert made with butterscotch pudding and shortbread.

I am a writer and a Mom to four children and two baby shih-tzus. My first experience with the Magic was in 1988, when my parents surprised my brother and me with a visit to Walt Disney World after a short trip to see friends in Georgia. I still hum the tune played during the Main Street Electrical Parade and remember the feeling of excitement from my very first visit. I introduced my husband to the Magic several years ago, and we take our children to the parks every time we can. No matter how many times I visit Walt Disney World, it seems it’s not enough! The ever-changing experience only gets better with each trip, and I’m thrilled to share the Magic with others, as well as some of the tips and tricks to getting the most out of the Magic with each visit!
