7 Reasons Why Disney Has Gone To The Dogs (and Cats) – Best Friends Pet Care At WDW

Planning vacations can be stressful. Planning for someone to take care of your pets while you are away from home can be nerve-racking to say the least. Let’s face it, these fur babies are a part your family too. They aren’t allowed to stay at most resorts with you and if you leave them at home, you will surely worry about them. That doesn’t have to be the case. There is a pet resort on Disney property that is a wonderful place to leave your fur babies with; while you are at the parks. It’s the Best Friends Pet Care at Walt Disney Resort. This is a huge facility that our family has used in the past and will continue to use. We felt very comfortable leaving our pet in their hands.

Best Friends Pet Care is conveniently located right on Disney property. It will give you piece of mind knowing that you didn’t leave them behind and that they are so close to where you are staying. It is a very short drive from any of the Walt Disney resorts.

6. Boarding

Whether you have a cat, a dog or something else you have many options to choose from when you are boarding your pet. Best Friends offers everything from indoor/out door suites to VIP Luxury Suites. All of the indoor suites are climate controlled so you wont have to worry about your pet having to adjust to the Florida weather as much.

5. Day Camp

Our family uses this option a lot when we are camping at Fort Wilderness. It’s nice to be able to drop our pet off while we spend the entire day at the parks. They keep your pets active during the day with group play or crazy holiday events for your pet to join in on.

4. Grooming Services

While you pet is on vacation with you, they can get their grooming needs met here as well. They do every thing from cuts to painting your fur baby’s toe nails. It’s so convenient to have this service available. They also have a “go home fresh” package so you can have a great smelling fur baby for your return trip back home.

3. Petcams

While your pet is at the Best Friends Pet Care resort, you can peek in on them using your smart phone. They have cameras in several areas of the resort . From the indoor VIP suites to the outside play areas. It’s fun to check in on your pet from time to time while you are taking a rest break at the parks.
