7 Tips For Booking Your FastPass At Disney World Parks

Using Disney’s FastPass+ System may take some getting used to for a Disney newbie, but it’s definitely worth getting a handle on before your next trip!  FastPass+ allows you to make reservations for the experiences you want to enjoy, allowing you to experience them at your reserved time with minimal wait.  Though many people don’t love the idea of choosing what to ride or character greeting to do months in advance, there’s no doubt that FastPass+ reservations allow you minimize your wait times!  Here are some tips that will help you make smart use of your FastPass+ reservations.

7.  Know WHEN To Book FastPass

Guests staying at a Disney resort can make FastPass+ reservations 60 days prior to the start of their trip, for the duration of their trip.  This includes some resorts on Disney property that are not owned by Disney (such as the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts) as well as several properties in the Disney Springs area.   Staying off-site or just visiting for the day? Anyone with a park ticket or annual pass can make FastPass+ reservations at 30 days prior to visiting.

Not only should you mark your calendar- you’ll also want to set an alarm clock for 7am EST.  Booking a few days or weeks prior to travel (or even during your noon lunch break 60 days out) will impact your ability to snag the most popular FastPass+ options, like Slinky Dog Dash or Flights of Passage.
