6. My Disney Experience App
Having a high-quality camera is recommended, but you might also want to make sure your mobile phone is equipped with GPS capabilities so that you can access the online map during your visit. Even better, though, is the My Disney Experience app as it too includes a GPS-enabled interactive map so that you can swiftly navigate the parks. You can also check wait times for attractions, make FastPass+ bookings and dining reservations. And don’t worry, as there’s free Wi-Fi across the resort – it’s not always perfect but at least your mobile data usage won’t go “to infinity and beyond”!
5. Guidemaps
If Indiana Jones taught us anything, it’s that nothing beats a good old-fashioned map – so grab a complimentary one from the entrance to each Disney Park. And if while you’re exploring it gets covered in soda or blown away, there are plenty more available at select stores throughout the parks. Why not even draw your own path on the map with those iconic dots just like in the Indiana Jones movies! The brilliance of the My Disney Experience app can’t be overstated, but sometimes all you need are the “bare necessities”.
