7. Splash Mountain
Splash Mountain is perhaps the most thrilling water ride in all of the Walt Disney World Resort, thanks to the 10-minute length of the ride, a top speed of 40 miles per hour and five separate drops, ranging from tiny to 50 feet down! Board a log flume with up to 7 other Guests and hold on tight! The queues to this ride are air-conditioned well. In the FastPass+ queue, you can feel the cold air pouring out of the vents above you every 15 to 20 feet, and it’s wonderful! The queues tell the story of Brer Rabbit and feature many of the beloved characters from Disney’s Song of the South. You’ll enjoy each drop of this ride, waiting and wondering if the next drop will be the five-story drop. Hint: look and listen for the “laughing place!”
