3. There are different kinds
When MagicBands were first launched at the end of 2013, there was only one kind. Recently, Disney has released the MagicBand 2.0 and along with it, new accessories. The middle part of the MagicBand detaches and can be put in key chains and in other MagicBands with the same functionality. The middle part is where all of your information is stored so as long as you don’t lose it, you’re good! There are also limited edition MagicBands that make sounds when you enter certain parks or use Fastpass+, so you have a lot of options.
