8 Things People Don’t Tell You About a WDW Vacation

1. There are Four Parks

OK, so you may have already realized that you don’t just “go to Disney World”. Technically, on a park day you go to either Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom—four distinct parks within Disney World. Disney newbies are often surprised when they realize they’ll need separate tickets to each of the four separate parks of Walt Disney World. Countless friends have been under the impression that they can ride Dumbo and Kilimanjaro Safari in the same day. Well, it is theoretically possible with a park hopper pass, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it. Do your research on each park to decide which you will visit on your WDW vacation. (And if you can, do them all! On different days, that is….)
